Hey there, just me rambling to myself, if you stumbled into this it's alright.

Newgrounds isn't necessarily new to me, i've known this platform as long as i had access to internet - long-ass time ago. I think i finally found a place that i can share some of my work without fear of having it taken down by Bs reasons.

Well, i just decided to post this journal because of another art platform, the green one that starts with D and ends with Art in which i won't dare to speak its name. You know what just happened? I had two pieces removed there for """underage characters""" (no they're not in case you're wondering) my Rouge the Bat x Vanilla the Rabbit and my Rouge the Bat solo pieces.

They're literally some of the only canon adult characters in the franchise and the platform took it down anyway. I think i might be the only artist that had a Rouge the Bat tasteful nude art taken down for depicting ""young characters""" (: I'm not even joking, just a standard pinup taken down, what a great moderation that platform has...

I sent an e-mail asking if they can do anything, but they'll probably just answer me after 2 weeks to send me a link to their policies like they did last time. At this point i know about DA's guidelines more than their own moderation as it seems, might become a member myself

Update February, 22nd 2023 - By the way, it's been around one month since i deactivated my Deviantart account. So by now it's been automatically deleted and i will never look back. Fuck that place

I got banned on 3 DA acc in the past for the same reason (lewd/nude Amy Rose). "According to the wikia..." is their reasoning. You cant do anything to help on your end.

If i'm not mistaken, you too got banned from both your Furaffinity accounts, right? Found unnusual you following me twice until i noticed it was a second account xD I wonder if it was for the same reason, given that FA had some rule changes while i was gone.

Losing an account is painful. Nobody to resort for help while you lose all your hardwork, that takes irl time to build. I can tell you because my only source of revenue during the pandemics was my DA, that was bombarded by reports. I got multiple Vanilla the rabbit and Rouge the bat pics deleted for "age reasons", when they're both canon adults. Not even attaching the wikia links on my response avoided the deletions. Total bs

Seeing the current state of DA i'll tell you, good riddance from that place. I deleted my 12 YO page without remorse early this year.

Just try to be careful with some characters, ok? Don't want to see you losing any other accounts for arbitrary TOS. If you want to survive as an artist, specially nowadays, you need to have a faithful community to back you up when sh*t hits the fan.

Sorry for the textwall, this matter of losing art pages really hits close home

@Aerth The last account, on FA, is a (probably) different case. I was banned off my FLIST and other FA account in a single hour timeframe difference. So, its probably someone who did so out of spite, from FLIST (a grudge maybe is a better word). No explanations possible. I did repost an Amy Rose pic I did, but she looked fully adult in body so it cant be it (for FA).

Something to note: On both FA and FLIST: Once banned youre never allowed back again. This means the same thing if you make new accounts. I come back and revive on FLIST after a 6 months period and with a VEE PEE EEN so its not big deal, aside from the fact I lose all my friends and fans there in the process (at least those I couldnt pull out to my TW or Telegram so no loss can occur). As for FA it takes HOURS AND HOURS to mass art and tag EVERYTHING properly. All hours wasted on the new acc too (and funny enough the art was barely getting seen (as little as my older account was getting on its last week I was on it (many months ago). It sucks bc, RP aside for a second, both cases helped me with getting more fans/commissions (its my job and passion). I agree its BS.

Yeah, well the upload process on DA is very tedious, and every pic you gotta mass tag too and then you go fetch 25+ groups to cross post it into and its all laggy a bit its awful. xD Im kinda desperate lately for commissions so might come back on Hentai Foundry soon. Oh and post lewds on Steam too (they allow it now). HF has a sim. issue to DA where the upload process is archaic (or it was some years ago at least).

I cant afford to lose any more accounts, pretty much.
